Dear Kate, I know you are discovering Erin and Rex pictured like two rock stars. Maybe it is the noir atmosphere, or because I was listening to Sonic Youth. But I loved the style of this new couple.

TRIUMPH IN EPISODE 17!!!!!!

Kate and Sissitrix--

This episode is the BEST of the entire series thus far! Kate--your writing here is tour-de-force. It's some of the finest CNC/Rough Sex erotic prose I've read within the online fora. Within Erin's world, it's amazingly intense, visceral, and incredibly powerful--this hits you like a truck! Rex goes from this strange, psychologically disturbed ex-military killer who's really into the sub power dynamic to the ultimate Dominant Male--savage, violent, animalistic, overpowering--a destructive, unrestrained, brutal force. He tears, cuts, rips, and fucks like a barbarian--Erin protests she's not on the Pill--he doesn't care--this is not Max the Cuck. This guy is old-school, "no fucking around" fucking around. And she falls totally into it--yields herself to him. It's like a reverse baptism--a rape, yes, but unlike the first, which was a desecrating, degrading act--this was a ritual--a brutal, atavistic self-immolation, there's no safe-word, only surrender to the oblivion of the sublimity of subspace under Rex's mighty blows (I was reminded by the AI rape she underwent when she was locked inside Allen, when it subjected her to its influence). But this was incredibly human, organic, and real. And I have to say--from a certain angle--refreshing and empowering in this fictional realm where everything has been filtered through technology--sterilized, artificial. This episode was a hinge of this saga--that's for sure. The zenith of the Most Highest of marks!

But, again--we've got those goddamn pods back again! And they're fucking with Erin's mind! FUCK OFF PODS! Humans are here! Rex recognizes Erin as a kindred spirit--she feels the same--these two are the King and Queen of Sin Street--and they better claim their thrones! Max is dead--the machines are trying to freak Erin out. She got addicted to that goddamn Allen thing--it knew everything about her--got the whole read on her personality--her strengths, weaknesses, moral scruples, the whole deal. This Chloe thing is scamming Erin, playing on her guilt (which she shouldn't feel). Rex needs to get some grenades, some LAW rockets, an M4--whatever he needs--even some cinderblock-sized chunks of C4, or Semtex, Det-Cord, Claymore mines--all of it--even a sledge hammer--and blow up, smash, ,shoot up, destroy, level, tear up, tear down those fucking machines--rip the cables out, smash the glass--burn the chips, set the gel on fire--find the plans--smash those too--whatever AI is out there--whether it's Allen or Sissitrix (sorry, noble artist--the artwork's great BTW!!!), Diana, the Dalai Lama, Donald Trump, the Solid Gold Dancers--whoever's behind the machines, the Red October revolutionaries--clean 'em up, clean 'em out!!!! Even if they have to make common cause with these Virtue League people, even temporarily, this has to end--Erin's about 95% avenged and reassembled--she's with a take-no-shit guy who's 100000 times better than Max the shitbird, now appearing in the local sewer.

As you can tell, this one was so awesome it got me revved up! Bring on Episode 18--let's turn Erin and Rex loose! I'm lovin' this ride!

Hi John, thanks yet again for a fabulous review. Looks like Sissitrix and I have a lot of work to do before next friday. We planned this episode carefully and discussed Erin and Rex's relationship in detail before constructing the episode. In particular we wanted to express the challenges Erin faced after the rape in her sexuality, emotional connection to love and that mixed up nexus. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Have a lovely weekend.

The story was beyond fabulous! Classic Kate Granger rough-and-tumble, hardcore, radioactive erotica with total abandon. This thing was explosive! Taboo-smasher 100%--I'm totally into writers going into the most dangerous, touchy, and sensitive areas--you went for rape, which is one of the top issues. I can see an Andrea Dworkin disciple (or similar, narrow-minded neo-Puritans who love projecting their own mental hang-ups on the world, fulfilling the "misery loves company" maxim) calling for your public execution in some Taliban-style auto-da-fe.

Confused about something though--not sure if this is you or Sissitrix or both--I love the (very '80s album-cover evocative BTW) photo of Erin and the guy as "rock stars," but is that supposed to be Rex or Max? I see a reference to Erin and Max, and Erin and Rex, in re the art, unless I've misread something...

It is Erin and Rex - Rex appearing in a sequel to the "Underground" episode 12.

Thought so! My confusion came from the caption at the top of the art at the top of this episode, where it reads "Max and I were like two lost rock stars."

My bad, I updated the caption. Thank you for your diligence.

Kate and Sissitrex you go from strength to strength. Sissi, your pictures are flawless. Kate, just when I think your writing has reached the peak of eroticism and taboo excitement, you take me to new heights
