How is Sin Street doing?
We creators would say that, like any war, it is always a big explosion at first, then we adapt, and it slowly disappears from the trends.
Erin fought and won, but our war isn't over. Even if The Resurgent Whore, did an excellent job before moving on, Sin Street citizens still suffer.
We, the creators, are also suffering from a long campaign, and we want to replace that pain with an intense pleasure.
Unseen is now seen.
Even if the Substack platform has censored our newsletter and Sin Street creation, we do it all for ourselves, spitting out fantasies every week. We love Sin Street because it is a part of us, a part of you; whatever Suburbia you live in, you’ll probably recognize aspects of Sin Street, your inner world.
Our creation is not a place you want to live in but one where you desire to play. A fantasy land exquisitely described in raw art and words.
Going back to last year, Christmas marked the end of our first and greatest saga to date. Six months and twenty-four episodes of an incredible series. For those who didn’t follow, it is the story of revenge, resurgence, and new life.
Is it raw? - Yes, of course, because real life is like that, right?
If you are new to our universe, reading this opus is completely free, giving you the opportunity to get hooked by our dark streets.
What to expect from Sin Street?
We will be focusing on the heroes who are slowly emerging from the dirt, grime, and corruption of a sinner’s place. Their names are Erin, Rex, Bliss, Unseen, Trevor, with many more to come. Expect our Sighting List to grow, too, as our police department is better organized now that Diana, the Iron Lady, dominates City Hall with her intrigues.
Erin — A woman of steel, forged by her rebirth, revenge, and resurgence.
Rex — The best bet for your most dubious issues. Don't mess with Rex.
Unseen — The most famous visitor, tester, and enjoyer of the Fuck Factory.
Trevor — A good man, uncorrupted cop and unofficial guide to Sin Street.
Bliss — Bliss Paradox? The best purveyor of gossip, facts, and fake news!
Somehow, and it may sound strange, we are getting more and more tourists on Sin Street. Attracted by our extreme telling of tales, the phenomenon is known as dark tourism – a term for visiting sites associated with death and suffering.
They love Sin Street. It is a kinky attraction to feed their Noir needs before returning to ordinary life.
To fuel this growing desire for our sinful streets, we will post more about places like the infamous old docks, a true shithole in the Southeast, and the first destination of the extreme hitchhikers.
Will it surprise you that the Sun Sun restaurant, where we used to meet and talk about our writings and drawings, has become a super hip place?
Creating something from nothing is hard, but surprisingly, we both agree that somehow, the Sin Street universe brought our talents together for a reason, and we are aligned in absolute and resolute determination to tell the story from its darkness.
It's true; Sin Street is brand new and a framework of hell, or something else, perhaps. We are in full flow and moving toward another plot, another dilemma.
World building is so much fun and I like seeing how it's become an area for you to branch off from your short stories. It's also different than writing novels, too.
